Finding ways to make words sparkle
This is the blog of a woman who is seriously on the edge and I mean right ON the edge…no, not there… just a little bit further… further than that…no, further still…just a tiny bit more… just move slightly to the right a little…no, that’s too much…just move a tad to the left…that’s right, just there…now you’ve moved too far to the left… Damn, what part of the ‘on the edge’ do you not understand? Oh, and her matricidal boy genius, come devil spawn.
Or the three people I guilted into reading this blog, whatever.
Growing older is inevitable. Growing up is optional.
I may make you feel, but I can't make you think.

Dear Russell,I'm calling them right after I get done telling you that you're four for four. Good job on this one. (Us old dogs have to stick together, eh?)Aloha,Doug http://ironwoodwind.wordpress.com/2012/03/16/answer-to-love/

Wonderful, Russell. Stephen loved it, too. He says you should write a column. What a great idea . . . get on it, Russell!http://jansthoughtsovercoffee.blogspot.com/2012/03/waiting-for-my-boy-fridayfictioneers.html

Lol. I like your take on this. Old dogs are pretty valuable! I miss my older dog we had put down last year. He would have been 18 this year. Thanks for sharing!CC My attempt: http://unduecreativity.wordpress.com/2012/03/15/a-little-longer/

So good; I could just imagine a voice-over on this on the television, with the '*when accompanied by a human' appearing on the bottom of the screen. Brilliant takehttp://castelsarrasin.wordpress.com/2012/03/16/straight-talking-friday-fictioneers-16-march-2012/

I've sent samples to the Free Weekly, but haven't gotten a response. My writing is like a stray dog. It'll either get adopted one day or put to sleep.

Nice twist…our Mindy was qualified as "special needs" because she is not only a BBD (Big Black Dog) but also an Old Dog. She also had a huge growth on her face when her family turned her in. It had just been removed, so she had stitches all over her snout when we got her. Plus, she was overweight and had arthritis. But…with the expensive dog food and lots of exercise and TLC, she has dropped ten pounds and seems to be doing well. PS – our vet gives us a discount because she was adopted from the local shelter!~Susan (here's mine: http://www.susanwenzel.com/)
