Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, and best wishes to all. The cover photo of this year’s card was taken by our four-year-old granddaughter, Maudeline Bee.
Howdy friends and neighbors,
This year has been filled with more ups and downs than a roller coaster bouncing on a trampoline. Polly and I have been working on a new Christmas album containing several never popular and unrequested classics, such as;
Little Dumber Boy · Grandpa Got Run Over by a Beer Truck · Wide Christmas · Oh, Little Clown of Goshen Town · Rudolf the Brown-Nose Reindeer · Barely Audible Night (closed captioned for the hearing impaired)
We hope these songs will touch your heart and make this Christmas a memorable one for you and your loved ones.
Remember, often and always, to make a Joyful noise unto the Lord.
God Bless Y’all and have a Merry Christmas.

Finding ways to make words sparkle
This is the blog of a woman who is seriously on the edge and I mean right ON the edge…no, not there… just a little bit further… further than that…no, further still…just a tiny bit more… just move slightly to the right a little…no, that’s too much…just move a tad to the left…that’s right, just there…now you’ve moved too far to the left… Damn, what part of the ‘on the edge’ do you not understand? Oh, and her matricidal boy genius, come devil spawn.
Or the three people I guilted into reading this blog, whatever.
Growing older is inevitable. Growing up is optional.
I may make you feel, but I can't make you think.

Dear Wooly (and Polly)
A happy merry hannakwaanzachristmukkah. “You can say it backwards which is dociousalliexpyisticfragicallirupos, but that’s going a bit too far, don’t you think?”
That must be a Greek word for smile, cause that’s what it made me do.
Wooly (and Polly)
Wooly and Polly Sing the Classics! For the low, low price of $14.99! But wait, there’s more! Order now and you will receive a bonus album, Wooly and Polly Sing-A-long With Mimes! Pay only $99 for shipping and handling.
Couldn’t resist! Wishing you and the Mrs. a wonderful holiday! 🙂
Be careful about dragging the mimes into this, Morgaine. Rochelle might try to cut in on the action and steal my air guitar if she doesn’t get a healthy percentage of the take.
Next time, we’ll do “Songs From the Sea” and you sing with us.
LOL I may be a sea siren but my singing sounds more like an ambulance siren 😀
And to you as well, Dawn. Thanks for being a faithful visitor to my site.
It’s honestly my pleasure.
All you need is a sighting of Leroy the redneck reindeer to make the holiday complete. Happy holidays!
That would be nice, but Leroy is keeping a low profile until deer season is over. Maybe on Christmas Eve he’ll come streaking through the trailer park with a Rebel flag streaming from each side of his antlers and a six-pack of Pabst for all the good little girls and boys.
“Feliz navidad y próspero Año Nuevo” to y’all. Have a beautiful week ahead. xo
Thank you. May you have a blessed holiday as well.

Great idea! Rockin’ around the aluminum pole and the Festivus Party hop… Your turn!
Could you two be any cuter? No, don’t answer… you could not! Adorable, both of you! And this is an album I hope to find in my stocking. I’m asking SC come the 24th. 😉 Happy happy, merry merry!
Aww, that’s sweet , Dawn.
This makes the 14th or 15th year we’ve made redneck-themed Christmas cards. We have a lot of fun with it and people have come to expect it. I had a friend call from Minnesota yesterday wondering was his was. 🙂
I love your playfulness and willingness to polk fun at yourself and things we all take too seriously, Russell. Your wife is beautiful (!) and you both look hysterical in those outfits! Happy holidays to both of you! xo
Ha ha! I am nominating this for The Best Christmas Greeting of 2016! I have a feeling Wooly and Polly really know how to throw a Christmas Shindig!
It’s nice to see your smiling face here, Linda. Glad you enjoyed the card.
Wooly and Polly always have a good time at Christmas. Best wishes to you and yours.
I bet your grandkids are really looking forward to the holiday.
